The commemorative plaque to Private Frank Joseph ARKELL, 2/5th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, who was killed in action on 21st March 1918 in the Somme area of France.   He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial To The Missing, France.

He is commemorated on the Boddington (St Mary Magdalene Church) Roll of Honour.

His parents resided at Butler's Court, Boddington.

Commemorations in the Cemetery

Private Leonard Long BICK, 16th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment, is commemorated on the family grave.   He was killed in action in the Arras area of France on 13th March 1917 and is buried in the Chambrin Military Cemetery, France.

He is commemorated on the Staverton (St Catherine's Church) Roll of Honour.

His parents resided at Church Farm, Staverton.
