Lt Col Richard Chester CHESTER-MASTER, DSO, 13th Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps, is also commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the St Philip's Church War Memorial. He is also commemorated on a brass plaque in the St Philip's Church and also on the Cirencester Memorial Hospital Roll of Honour. He resided at "St Clair", The Park, Cheltenham and after the war his widow resided at Queens Land House, Cirencester. Cpl Percy WINTER, 1st Battalion Bedfordshire Regiment, is also commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial. |
