Major Robert Henry GROWSE, Royal Army Service Corps, is buried in Plot IX, Row D, Grave 23.   He died of illness on 12th February 1919, aged 34, in Duren, Germany, whilst serving with the Army of Occupation.

He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the Cheltenham College Roll of Honour.

His mother, Mrs Emily Ouxley Growse resided at "Pallas" The Park, Cheltenham.

Pte Harry OAKEY, Army Service Corps, is buried in Plot XII, Row F, Grave 18.   He was taken a prisoner of war by the Germans in May 1918 and died whilst a POW on 3rd November 1918, aged 32.

He was born in Gotherington, near Cheltenham, in 1886 where his parents, Mr and Mrs Edwin Oakey, resided

He is commemorated on the Gotherington War Memorial and the Bishops Cleeve War Memorial.

A photo of Ernest Smith's headstone will be posted here in due course. LCpl Ernest Herbert SMITH, 18th Battalion Kings Royal Rifle Corps, is buried in Plot VI, Row C, Grave 4.   He died of illness in Cologne on 26th February 1920, aged 20.

He is commemorated on the Charlton Kings War Memorial and the Charlton Kings (St Mary's Church) War Memorial.

His mother, Mrs Margaret Louisa Smith, resided at 10 Buckles Row, Grange Walk, Copt Elm Road, Charlton Kings.
