"Cheltonians" buried in this Cemetery

Pte Harry PEART, 5th Battalion Canadian Infantry, is buried in Plot VIII, Row A, Grave 26.

He was killed in action on 26th September 1916 in the Courcelette area of France.   He was 35 years old.

He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and on the St Mark's Church Roll of Honour.

His parents, Frederick Thomas Peart and Maud Peart, resided at Banks Cottage, Arle, Cheltenham.
