Pte Albert Edward POOL, 1st Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, died of wounds in Lincoln on 21st June 1916 as a result of accidental injuries sustained in the Loos area of France. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial. His parents, Mr CI Pool and Mrs IH Pool, resided at The Wheatsheaf Public House, Tewkesbury. |
