Pte Albert Edward POOL, 1st Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, died of wounds in Lincoln on 21st June 1916 as a result of accidental injuries sustained in the Loos area of France. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and is buried in the Churchyard at Christ Church, Downend. He is listed as POOLE in "Soldiers Died" and as POOLE in the Debt of Honour Register at the CWGC. |
