Battalion History |
| Formed as a Service battalion in September 1914 at Bristol as part of "K4". Full Title - 10th (Service) Battalion. |
| Initially assigned to 26th Division for training whilst in the UK. Arrived in France on 9th August 1915 and re-assigned to 1st Brigade, 1st Division. |
| Served in France and Flanders (Loos, Bethune, Somme, Dunkirk and Ypres). |
| Battalion was disbanded on 19th February 1918, personnel being transferred to 1st Battalion, 8th Battalion and 13th Entrenching Battalion. |
| Battle Honours - 8, earned at: France and Flanders 1915 - 18, Loos, Somme 1916, Albert 1916, Bazentin, Pozieres, Flers Courcelette and Morval. |
