"Cheltonians" buried in this Cemetery

Captain Henry SAVILE, Royal Navy, died in the Portsmouth area on 1st November 1914 and is buried in the cemetery.

He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the All Saints Church War Memorial.

He resided at Lewisham House, Suffolk Road, Cheltenham.

At the base of Capt Savile's headstone is the small wooden remembrance cross placed there by Dave on 29th March 2003.
