Lt Col Raymond Vernon DOHERTY-HOLWELL,
DSO, Royal Engineers, is buried in Plot II, Row B, Grave 12.
He was killed in action on 9th
January 1917 in the Ypres area of Belgium. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the Cheltenham College Roll of Honour. He attended Cheltenham College between 1896 and 1899, but no other connection with Cheltenham has be traced as yet. |
